Elder Grove | 12 fl oz Stein
Handbuilt | Porcelain | Stoneware Stein
From the forest floor to the feast table, the Elder Grove Stein stands as a vessel of memory and myth.
This dark gray and deep blue stein features a meticulously carved old man’s face emerging from the clay — brows heavy as ancient boughs, beard flowing like tangled roots. His expression is neither stern nor gentle, but knowing. Watchful. As though he has stood through centuries of wind and weather.
The exterior is finished in layered, watercolor washes of charcoal stain, evoking bark after rainfall. The interior reveals a luminous blue glaze — like a hidden woodland spring held within.
Each stein is:
Individually hand-sculpted and carved
Finished in dark gray
Lined with a rich blue glazed interior
One of a kind
There is a distinctly druidic presence here — a reverence for trees as teachers, for patience measured in rings rather than hours. If you are drawn to the slow speech of forests and the mythic gravitas of the Ents from The Lord of the Rings, this vessel will feel like kin.
This stein is not merely for drinking. It is for storytelling. For deep ales, darker teas, and conversations that wander like forest paths.
